Please let me introduce myself

Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, recognized me as one of the top 5% agents in Silicon Valley and awarded me with the "Life-time Achievement Award" for consistent performance over the years and recognized as a "President's Club" member with Alain Pinel. I am also a Panel Member of the Professional Standards Committee for the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors responsible for upholding and enforcing the highest level of ethics in our profession. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors.

Community Involvement

I am extremely active in the Los Altos and Mountain View communities. My involvement started as a mother of two kids in the Los Altos Elementary School District and then Mountain View High School. I loved being involved with my kid's schools, starting with PTA and Cub Scouts/Brownies. I soon found myself as Vice President of the PTA and our schools fund raising organizations: the Los Altos Education Foundation and the MVLA Education Foundation.

I am a three-term elected Board Trustee of the Mountain View-Los Altos High School District; one of the top districts in the state. As a Trustee, I have seen the major renovation of our schools, the launching of Freestyle High (a state-of-the-art digital media learning center), to tripling the number of AP classes offered and maintaining high standards of academic performance in the face of challenging financial times. I am an active member of the California Schools Board Association and the Santa Clara County Schools Board Association.

I am a Board Member with several community organizations that help our kids. I am a Board Member and current President of the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) that provides counseling for students from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto. I am a Founding Board Member and Treasurer of JustREAD Centers, a literacy program, Board Member of the MVLA Community Scholars, a college scholarship organization, Board Member of the Mountain View Challenge Team, a group collaborating to prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug-related problems in our community. Finally, I am a member of Leadership Mountain View a training ground for community leaders.

Business Experience and Education

Prior to starting my career in Real Estate, I was a high-tech marketing communications manager for 20 years with companies such as AMD, Tandem Computers and Tektronix. As an Account Executive for a local advertising agency, I launched Activision at the beginning of the interactive game industry.

I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Portland and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from San Jose State University.

Family and Activities

I am a 33+ year resident of Silicon Valley and live with my husband, Bryan, of 36-years. We have lived in San Jose, Menlo Park, and Sunnyvale and currently reside in Los Altos. Our two children attended Loyola Elementary School, Blach Middle School and Mountain View High School in Los Altos. Our son continued on to graduate from University of Colorado with majors in molecular biology, chemistry and biochemistry and recently entered a PhD program in Chemical Engineering. Our daughter graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a major in Communications and is working in an internet advertising company.

Bryan and I spend our extra time working on home improvement projects. We love to ski in the winter and are working on developing a respectable game of golf. We now enjoy a golf get-away when we can fit it in.
